The kind of view you only get after a clearcut.
In May we got a chance to visit Nancy's woodlands and pasture in Yoncalla. Nancy was a gracious host, taking time from a very busy schedule to show us a recent logging operation, tree planting, pasture management, an impressive tool shed, not to mention beautifully maintained roads. We followed up with a dinner (where we were joined with about 70 hummingbirds!) and a lively discussion.
